Pakistan defeat to its arch-rivals India has sparked up a series of controversies. A few days back, a viral clip of an Anonymous person who goes out with the name of Raju Bhai erupted and took social media by storm. Important for both avid cricket and Pakistan Cricket fans, the video consisted of some leaked information regarding the internal conflicts in Pakistan Cricket Team.

Raju clearly stated that he had a conversation with Shoaib Malik regarding the backstage brawl, which stunned Shoaib who replied, “Please, don’t think it in such a way, there’s nothing like that”. The recorder further went on to say

“Sarfaraz has been left alone by the management and a bunch of players. Inzamam-ul-Haque and Haroon Rashid are the leading personalities behind this coup of replacing Sarfaraz. Shoaib Malik is leading along with the likes of Imad Wasim, Asif Ali and Inzamam's nephew Imam-Ul-Haque”

“When Ahsan Mani the Head of PCB announced Sarfaraz decision to continue as the Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team in World Cup, these people could not bear the decision”

“They want to replace him (Sarfaraz), with Imad Wasim and have asked Imad to perform brilliantly in the World Cup to prove his worth”

“Sarfaraz will be imminently removed from captaincy once the team returns after a dreadful WorldCup performance”, The speaker justified.

I’ll not let Imad and these conspirators be the captain”- Raju Concluded.

PCB dismissed such rumors claiming and terming them as false and a distraction to Pakistan vs India, which is one of the most anticipated matches. However, Pakistan’s defeat to India wasn’t a minor one, it was from a huge margin. This further caused confusion.

Pakistan’s display against India was a terrible one, the team failed to counter it’s rivaled in a single field of the game. The Batting line-up was dismissed in an instant and this poor performance has led more controversies sprung forward.

The player’s mentioned specifically in that clip had a day to forget. Imam ul Haq was dismissed by Vijay Shankar on a very easy ball. With Babar and Fakhar dismissal the team went from 117-1 to 132-5 real quick with Malik again going out for a Golden Duck and Hafeez for 9.Imam, Malik, Asif, and Babar Azam all have had a mixed start to the World Cup campaign.

Followed by the heavy defeat to India, news and clips have been leaked claiming that Sarfaraz was never allowed to start off with his preferred playing X1. He wanted to have Asif Ali and Hasnain over Imad and Malik, this appeal was rejected instantly. The Captain had to stay awake for the whole night to try and convince the higher authorities to accept his opinion.

Perhaps, all surrounding the viral media isn’t false with Pakistan’s own performances depicting it. Time for the Captain to come out and face the situation boldly and deal with the lobbying instantly, this is the sole way to improve the team’s performances in this current campaign and counter all the lobbying.
