Cricket World Cup 2019

The Cricket World Cup 2019 is finally on our heads. A couple of matches have had already been wrapped up. South Africa have had a big defeat against the stamped World Cup favorites England.

Pakistan has had an unexpected upset against West Indies who've though had a relatively young, inexperienced side but managed to grab the top spot after cruising to victory in around 14.2 overs. Gayle scoring a fifty at age of forty was a clear message towards the opposition Pakistan who's batting line up collapsed at mark of 105. Pakistan was later criticized by analyst and critics of putting up a relatively weak, incompetent team.

The third match commenced between another Asian and Australian team with the black caps with one of the strongest X1 taking on the Sri-Lanka. Sri Lanka had a new captain but the oldest average squad than any other team participating in world tournament.

The match kicked off with New Zealand opting to field and this time attacking the Sri Lanka batting line up from the start with pacy bouncers. The Lankans tumbled under pressure going all out for just 139. The Black Caps managed to chase the score with ease completing the target in just 16.2 overs.

The start hasn't seen any glorious match going down to the wire! However, there's been a lot that has to come up. Stay tuned for more updates!
